A wee bit about me:

I am  Lion, an enthusiastic photographer who ambles whilst capturing original evocative scenes.  

My passion is visiting places to experience and capture as much as I can.  I have been extremely fortunate in my adult  life, and I am grateful to have seen so much of this planet’s natural beauty.   

When I visit a new location or even perhaps the same location several times, there are always diverse and exciting scenes to capture with changing weather conditions or cloud formations to people and topography.

Most places I have visited with just with a backpack, a bottle of water, comfortable shoes and of course my Camera kit.  I find life invigorating to just follow my nose in nature, this provides me the best opportunity to capture the best lens life.

Although I have had the privilege to be behind the viewfinder of many cameras since a small child, I have gradually progressed as a photographer from operating Yashica, Olympus, Panasonic, Sony. However I Have built my website using results from Sony Cybershot DSC-P10, Canon EOS 1000D, Canon EOS 5D Mk 4.  I have now progressed into Canon’s mirrorless technology with the Canon R6 Mk II which I find to be a very versatile and easy to travel with, delivering phenomenal and crystal clear compositions.

I have utilised my older prime lenses on an RF Adaptor which really works well without degrading clarity, so I am able to continue shooting great composures with cherished equipment which took me many years to build.
